Wanted to post something today.  Feel like I should make more of a effort to use this a bit more and maybe get my head around stuff a bit better.  I find writing stuff out does help, puts things in perspective.  Creative juices do not want to work today.  Everything is quite jumbled up today, it might be from the pregnancy, or its just my normal personality. :)

Tonight is the Oscars.  81st ceremony.  Hugh Jackman is hosting so hope he does well.  He did a good job with the Tony awards I understand, but this is a bit different and bigger.  Supposedly they have changed the Oscars to more of a nightclub atmosphere this year and have kept presenters hush hush.  Trying to make some mystery and get the fellow joe like me to watch.  I can never watch the whole thing, I click back and forth between shows and usually just wait till the AM and read online who won what.  Being a mommy to a little one who loves the occasional 5am wake up (uggg he's been sleeping in till 6-7 but the nights I stay up late are the next mornings he wakes up EARLY, never fails) I try to be in bed at a 1/2 decent hour.  But I thought I'd put who I think will win what, see how right I am in the AM

1.Best Actor - Sean Penn

2. Best Actress - Kate Winslet

3. Best supporting actor - Josh Brolin (think Heath will win it thought, lots of hype on him)

4. Best supporting actress - Penelope Cruz

5. Best picture - Slum Dog Millionaire

6. Best Animated - Walle

Let's see how I do :)  Don't ask me how I voted, I haven't seen any of these movies so I cannot judge how well they act or the movie is.  Mostly going with the hype of the news.
