Indoor Playground

Today we are going to a Indoor Playground. We have been before, but when closing time came it was a bit of a scene. Screaming, crying and refusing to listen to Mom/Dad. Oh the joys of parenthood. Alot of people keep asking us "When are you going to have another?" My response is "When he's in college." People kind of look at me with a stunned look and their mouth hanging open and saying "Really?". No, not really, we would like to have another child, but what business it of anyone else's when we decide too. Seems like a stereotype, your married, have LOTS of kids.

Back to the Indoor Playground. This is the best idea to have. When it's raining and just generally crappy outside, kids tend to get restless inside. I don't like them to watch TV all day, even though it's one of my favorite past times. I intend to use this Playground ALOT this winter. It is like a fast food restaurants playground, but BIGGER. This thing is great for running around, climbing, sliding and a moon bounce. Just generally having fun if your 3. Not recommended if your younger, but they do have a "special spot" for younger children. Mini slide and some toys. If you have any extra $$ and looking for a investment for kids to do, invest in one of these playgrounds. Unfortunately there are not enough of them around. Some kids come to the one we go to have to drive a 1/2 hr. Must admit though it seems to be a seasonal place. Summertime they are shut down, but once October comes they are open till June I think. There are other ones around that are open all year round, they do laser tag and that kind of thing in summer to get the kids to come out. That is a bit young for my little one and I prefer he just be "outside", not in 4 walls all summer. I must say, they are quite neat to see, and kids love it, socially and solitary.

Anyways, that's all for today. Goodnight and Best Wishes
