As the title of this post indicates, I am wondering what is on TV these days that is worth watching. I know there is a writers strike going on, so alot of stuff has been going into reruns. That has been helpful. I am a TV nut. I have it on for background noise for goodness sakes. Just so I don't feel so alone in a house :P The only thing I have been pretty dedicated in watching has been Dexter Season 2. Got really good last week. Can't wait for the one tonight. The show is getting exciting and only 3 or 4 episodes left. I got hooked onto this show last year. Got my mother in law in on it too :) Unfortunately since she's moved out I have been watching it myself. No one else seems to watch it, besides my sister who is 4hrs away, so I don't have anyone to make noises at at appropriate times :P My brother in law has been downloading them and watching them that way since he can't get the movie channel in the building he is living in. Anyways I'm rambling, it's getting GOOD!!
I recently stumbled upon a show called The Big Bang Theory. Quite cute. Story is beauty and the geek idea. 2 nerdy guys live in one apartment, across the hall a beautiful girl moves in and befriends them. The one nerdy guys is instantly in love with her, the other is annoyed with her (kind of like a brainiac vs dummy). The Office is another show that I have gotten to like thanks to my husband, who has bought season 1 & 2. Thinking of getting Season 3 as one of his Christmas presents, but he'll probably get it before Xmas comes. I love the inner workings of The Office. I worked in a Office type setting and there is one person who is the nice guy, the odd guy, the temp etc etc etc, kind of relate to the atmosphere :)
Back to work tomorrow. Thank god I only work 2 -3 days per week. I know I don't bring home much $$, but anymore hrs than that I think I would go insane. I loved being a stay at home mom, but at the same time I hated it. Does that make sense? I like being at home, but also being able to get out twice a week for 8hrs just to talk to some other adults is great too. Our son gets out as well, gets away from Mommy/Daddy and hang out with some kids his age. Unfortunately he doesn't have any kids that are his age that live near us, all older or younger, he's in between :)
Anyways, must go, Dexter is on tonight, should go put a tag on it now so it'll come on when it's supposed too :)
